Alex B Dalton, 52 year old World War veteran and a member of the James Wallace Costigan Post, Newport, American Legion, died Friday at the Veterans Hospital, Dayton O. after a short illness. Services will be held at the William C Betz Sons funeral home, Newport, at 8 pm today by the Newport Legion Post. Funeral services and burial will be in Lexington.
Mr. Dalton had been employed as a chef in various northern Kentucky and Cincinnati hotels for about 20 years prior to his illness. He leaves a son, Kenneth B, Newport, a daughter, Miss Lula Dalton, Cincinnati; three brothers, Emmett, Versaillese; John, Georgetown and Roley Dalton, Frankfort, and three grandchildren.
