Kentucky Post, Tuesday, 18 August 1903, page 5
Albert "Cully" Schrader of Newport, was taken to Speers Hospital Tuesday morning by Lieut. Jack Leahy. He was at Southgate and York when he was suddenly attacked with a hemorrhage. The first was followed up by several others and it is feared his case will be fatal. "Cully" has he is known was at one time a prosperous cigar merchant on York Street and was later a patrolman on the police force. His mixed in politics a great deal, at one time making the race for Coroner.
Of late he has been doing nothing and his health failed him almost entirely.
