Capt. Albert T Bonnick of 256 Beech Avenue, Southgate, was promoted recently from the rank of first lieutenant, according to word received from the Quartermaster Section of Headquarters Peninsular Base Section in Italy, to which he is attached.
Capt. Bonnick, whose wife, Joyce P Bonnick, lives at 1177 Park Avenue, Newport, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J Bonnick, of Southgate. He was engaged in accounting work for the Bell Telephone Co. Cincinnati, before entering military service three years ago. PRevious to being stationed in Italy, he served in North Africa and Sicily. A brother 1st Lt. Robert J Bonnick, is with the Army Signal Corps in New Jersey.
