Services for Albert Baumbach, former painting contractor in Newport, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dobbling funeral home, Ft. Thomas. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Baumbach died Wednesday at Barberville, Fla., where he took residence after retiring eight years ago.
He was a member of Newport Masonic Lodge and an honorary member of the Painters Union, Local No. 231.
He leaves a son, Fred Baumbach, government painting supervisor, stationed in Panama who returned to this country a week ago after learning of his father’s illness; two sisters, Mrs. William Theis, Sr., of Southgate; and Miss Florence Baumbach, of Cincinnati; one brother, Edward Baumbach of Los Angeles; and three grandchildren.
