Adam Baker died yesterday at his home, 165 Rhensford st. Bellevue, aged 79 years. He is survived by a family of adult children. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from the residence. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Adam Baker was born March 1829 in Bavaria, Germany and migrated to the United States in 1849. He served in the Civil War enlisting from Camp Chase in Columbis O. to the 139th Regiment Ohio Infantry Company A on 11 May 1864. He mustered out 26 Aug 1864. Before he enlisted he married Katharine Fiend in 1859 in Cincinnati.

Adam Baker died 12 June 1908 in Bellevue and was buried in Evergreen. Katharine Fiend Baker died 14 Jan 1903 in Bellevue and was buried in Evergreen.
