Because the school fund will be decreased $12,000 next year, the Dayton Board of Education at a meeting Tuesday night, voted to decrease the salaries of al teachers 10 per cent next year and discussed a possibility of shortening the school term.
The resignations of two teachers, Miss Ada Hewetson, fifth grade and Miss Stella Thacker, high school, were received and accepted.

Miss Ada H Hewetson, school teacher, died Thursday at her home, 224 Sixth av. Dayton. She leaves a brother, Dr. A D Hewetson. She was an active member of the Dayton Presbyterian Church.
Services will be held Monday at 2:30 pm at the Thorp & Stith funeral home, 407 Sixth av. Dayton. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
