Florence and Sam Thompson, a colored couple, were before Judge Moore this morning in the Newport Police Court. Florence had Sam arrested last night on a charge of disorderly conduct. She told the Judge he came home yesterday and threatened to cut her with a razor. Sam's story was directly opposite. He said when he came to dinner he found nothing cooked and he took his wife to task for the negligence, to which she objected and threatened him. Judge Moore dismissed the case.
