Richard Nelson of the County of Campbell for
and in consideration of the sum of $2700 by Peter Daniel of the same county in
hand paid, sells All the Negroes, good and chattels, household stuff and
furniture herein afterwards; particularly mentions that is to say Negroes;
Samuel, Moses, Pompey, Juba, Rachel, Dina, Harry,
Peggy, Cate, Joe, Crisley and James;
one horse, 4 head of horned cattle, 4 feather
beds and their furniture and heads, 4 iron Kettles, two pots and one oven, one
Cupboard, two earthen dishes, one dozen earthen plates, one tea and coffee pots,
each earthen; one dozen cups and saucers, one glass pot, 2 cases Knives and
forks and one dozen Spoons and one horse.
