Police Judge Dumont of Newport, arraigned for trial Tuesday two boys, Dad Thompson, 17, white, and Arthur "Possum" Clarke, 13, both of Newport, charged with stealing a wash boiler from Mrs. Ring. The boys had sold it for 6 cents to a junk dealer named Feehter.

As they were dividing the proceeds Officer Matthews arrested them. Possum Clarke was given 20 days in jail.
