ARREST-The special police force recently appointed by the Mayor
arrested six young men on Monday night, who it is supposed are the parties who
have committed numerous burglaries in this city within the past month.
Their names are George Elliott, William Elliott, Joseph Huling, Robert Jones (colored), Samuel Tibberghan and Joseph Tibberghan. Their ages range from twelve to seventeen years. In the possession of William Elliott were found a dark lantern, two pistols and various articles supposed to have been stolen.
