NEWPORT GLENN BOUND OVER

Riley Glenn, the colored man who shot and killed Dave Mitchell at a colored barbecue last Sunday, was arraigned in the County Court yesterday morning. Richard Ernst, Glenn's employer appeared as his counsel and waived examination for his client, and the Court held him without bail to wait the action of the grand jury.

The attorney gives Glenn a good reputation stating that he is thoroughly reliable, honest and temperate. He thinks that Glenn acted in self-defense.
