Ollie Hall

Cincinnati Enquirer, Monday, 2 July 1900, page 4

NEWPORT

Ollie Hall and Willis Stone, two young men, both colored, met on Monmouth street yesterday and had an argument as to which was the best exponent of the fistic art. Hall strengthened his argument with a right hand "hook" that caught young Stone on the side of the face, driving three of his teeth through his life.

By the time Stone had extricated his ivories from his lip, Hall had departed. Stone, senior, secured a warrant for Hall's arrest.
