Nannie Ingulls, Negro, 423 W Fourth st. Newport, under indictment for the murder of Earl Lloyd, Negro, Chestnut st. Newport, was arrested Monday night in Cincinnati and lodged in Newport jail. She is alleged to have stabbed the victim on Oct 15 during an altercation in the rear of 427 W Fourth st.

A jury in Campbell Circuit Court Monday deliberated four hours and found Nannie Ingulls, 40, Negro, of W Fourth st. Newport, guilty of manslaughter and sentenced her to five years in the State Reformatory. She was charged with having stabbed Earl Lloyd, 35, Negro of Chestnut st. Newport on Oct 5.
