Two 50 gallon stills in operation were alleged to have been found in a house at 215 W Southgate st. Newport, by federal prohibition agents. On the second floor the agents said they found a gallon whiskey.

Mrs. Minerva McConico, negro, was arraigned before Ed Pflueger, US Commissioner, and held under a bond of $500.

A malicious cutting charge against Minnie McConico, Negro, 226 W Southgate st. Newport, charged with stabbing Felix McCloud, Negro, 626 Saratoga st. Newport, was referred to the grand jury Friday by Judge Alfred G Maybury in Newport Police Court.
