The death Friday night of Allen Jones, the 2 year old child of
James Jones, colored, brings to light a rather remarkable fact in connection
with the history of Bellevue Ky.
The Jones family live at 462 Ward Avenue and they are the only colored people living in the city. The records at the City Hall show that the Jones child is the second colored person to die in the city. The Jones family live on their own property and are well to do colored people.
