NEWPORT BRIEFS
Mrs. Jennie Spencer, daughter of Washington Rippleton, an old and
highly esteemed colored citizen of Newport, died last night at her residence,
112 West Southgate-st.
Her funeral will be held a the colored Baptist Church Friday at 1 pm.
