NEWPORT
DIED IN DOCTOR'S OFFICE-Mrs. Reuben Berry, colored, took her
twenty-two month old child, Grant Augustus Berry, to Dr. Tingley's office
yesterday afternoon to be treated. The doctor was out and the child became
suddenly very ill.
Before another doctor could be secured, the child had died in its mother's arms. Coroner Higgins was notified and made a careful investigation of the case. He found that the child had died of convulsions.
