Our readers will remember that a few weeks ago, a Negro boy in the employment of Mrs. Robert Air, was caught by some men, on one of the ferry boats, who painted his body and then threw him into the river where he drowned. Thomas Gray, the principal party in the outrage, was arrested shortly after the occurrence and on Saturday last the Grand Jury of Campbell County indicted him for manslaughter.
