NEWPORT BRIEFS
Fanny Tyler, colored, was bound over to await the
action of the grand jury yesterday by Judge Hawkins in the sum of $300 on a
charge of grand larceny. The warrant was sworn to by Mr. and Mrs. Charles
L Ralson, by whom she was employed as a domestic. She stole $25 and left
some days since, it is charged.
