FOR EMBEZZLEMENT

Two Newport Colored Men Were Arrested Last Night


On receipt of a telegram from the New Orleans Chief of Police, Detectives Jenkins and Callahan arrested two colored men last night at the Grand Central Depot for embezzlement.  They are Curtis Green and Kelly Crooks, both of Newport Ky. They went out some months ago with a vi---- the property of Contractor Spinks of Newport .  They were to pay Spinks $24 a --- for the machine, and were giving --- through the South. 

The New Orleans police had been asked by Spinks to find the men, as they had sold the machine on finding they were on their way backto Cincinnati, they were taken at this end of the line and locked up at Central Station.
