NEWPORT BRIEFS


New Albany Ind. October 2. On motion of Joseph Foley, an attorney, Charles Williams, a young negro who recently came to New Albany from Newport Ky. was admitted to the bar.  This is the first negro ever admitted to the bar of the Floyd Circuit Court.
