Charley Love

NEWPORT

Maggie Robinson started out on one of her sprees Friday evening and by 2 am in the morning the town was hers. It required the combined efforts of three bluecoats to land her behind the bars.

When brought into Court yesterday she had not recovered from the night before and she reviled the Court and the officers. She was taken below and the case continued until Monday to give her a chance to sober up.

Charley Love, a colored individual who would make a good hit as a female impersonator, was fined $5 and costs for being in her company.
