Charley Johnson, the colored man found by Chief of Police
Ratliff at Ward and Central, Dayton, and taken to Speers Hospital with a badly
swollen arm, caused by a pistol shot, is in a dangerous condition. It is feared
he neglected it too long and lockjaw is developing.
