DEATH OF AN OLD INHABITANT-One of the oldest inhabitants of Newport died in this city on Tuesday last. He was a colored man named Basil Graham, who came here sixty-five years ago, having just left the service of Col. Dudley Mayo, the first Mayor of Cincinnati. He had seen the growth of both Cincinnati and Newport and in early days believed that the latter was to be the city of the West.
He died at the age of seventy-eight, much respected by his colored brethren, among whom he was a kind of oracle, together with the negroes of some of the best citizens of Newport.
