James Garrard, Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky by virtue & in consideration of a Land office treasury warrant No 14909 and entered the twenty ninth day of April one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five. There is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Patrick Campbell and John Breckenridge, said Breckenridge assignee of said Campbell by his attorney William Campbell, a Certain tract or parcel of land, containing one thousand seven and a half Acres by Surveyed the 28th day of September 1798 lying & being in the County of Campbell on the waters of Phillips Creek and bounded as followeth to wit.
Beginning at the two Dogwoods on a south East hill side on a line of Armstead Churchill's first survey on tan Entry of 24,000 Acres about thirty Eight poles from a Sugar tree white oak, beach oak and hickory the most southwardly Corner of said survey and running with said line north sixty degrees west four hundred and six poles to tow white oaks an Elm and black walnut on an Eastward hill side; thence south sixty degrees West three hundred and sixty poles to a sugar tree Double Dogwood and hickory marked C; thence south thirty degrees East three hundred forty nine degrees East five hundred and sixty three poles to the Beginning to the said Campbell and Breckenridge on the fifteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and ninety nie.
