James Garrard, Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky by virtue & in consideration of a Land office treasury warrant No 21410. There is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Harry Lee, assee of Alexander L Bullitt, a Certain tract or parcel of land, containing one thousand acres by Survey bearing date the 15th day of October 1795 lying & being in the County of Campbell Bounded as followeth to wit.
Beginning on the North East side of Licking River about 1000 poles as the River meanders below the mouth of the Kingcaids Creek at a beech tree marked AB; thence up the bank of the River as it meanders seven hundred poles to a beech and Sugar tree; thence South fifty nine degrees East crossing the River at three hundred and thirty five poles to a poplar and beech; thence North thirty one degrees East crossing the River again at one hundred and eighty seven poles in the whole 374 poles to two sugar trees; thence North 59 degrees West 335 poles to the Beginning.
On the 23d day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and ninety seven. Executed and delivered to Geo Riely Sr. the 6th Sep 1797.
