Ellen (Lani) Zeiser

December 27, 1954 - January 6, 2019

(Lani) Ellen Zeiser, 64, Sunman - of Avon and formally of Sunman, died on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Life's Journey of Avon.

Ellen was born on December 27, 1954, to Lowell and Dorothy (Ross) Hines in Cincinnati, Ohio. On November 28, 1975, Ellen married David W. Zeiser in Cincinnati. She was a past member of St. Nicholas Church and a member of St. Susanna Church in Plainfield. Ellen volunteered at A Caring Place and the Crisis Pregnancy Hot Line. She enjoyed crocheting and shared her abilities by making baby hats and booties for A Caring Place and prayer shawls for Bethesda North Hospital. Ellen will be remembered for her love of all fresh cut blooming flowers.

Ellen is survived by two daughters: Kimberly Rygielski and husband, Chris of Powell, OH, Kristen Swart and husband, Dan of Avon, IN; one son: John Zeiser of Plainfield, IN; five grandchildren: Jacob, Evelyn, Pearl, David, and Esther; a brother: Bruce Hines of Oklahoma ; a twin sister: Lois Stultz and husband Tom of Milford, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, David W Zeiser, who died on December 23, 2008, Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David M Zeiser.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Shaun Whittington officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Friends may call at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home 107 Vine Street, Sunman, on Thursday, January 10, 2019, where Rosary will be at 4:30 p.m. and visitation from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.
