Sara E. Yager Sara E. Yager, 84, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008. She was a resident of Indianapolis. Survivors include three daughters, Judy Smith, Peggy Boyd and Dee Lite Sherrill; a son, Ralph McDaniel; four sisters, Pauline Copeland, Bertha Hood, Ruth Brock and Linda Alexander; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren; and one great-great-stepgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter L. and Salome (Smith) Alexander; and her husband, Dirk Yager. A service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery.
