Mildred Lenora "Lee" Wheatley Mildred Lenora "Lee" Wheatley, 79, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Ashford Place Health Center in Shelbyville. She was a resident of Shelbyville. Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca (J. Max) Brenton; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nellie (Reed) McConnell; her husband, Lloyd Allen Wheatley; a sister, Anne Sherwood; and two brothers, Willard Quirk and Richard McConnell. A service will be conducted at noon Monday at Little & Sons Beech Grove Chapel, 1301 Main St., Beech Grove. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.Submitted by Mark Wirey
