A. K. Taylor died Wednesday night of the last week with heart disease. He was at the old scholars’ picnic on the Thursday before he died, and seemed in his usual health. Mr. Taylor was a good citizen and a model man. He was 75 years old, an ex-commissioner of Morgan county and his official acts were always in favor of the tax payers. He was a farmer all his life and made a success of it. He was a partner with J. W. Duke in the store business at this place for about four years. This community deeply mourns his loss.
