Charles Spoonamore
  Charles Spoonamore, 68, died
Friday, June 7, 2002, at St.
Francis Hospital & Health
Centers in Beech Grove. He was
a resident of Indianapolis.
  He was born Sept. 22, 1923, in
Somerset, Ky. His parents were
Clyde and Donnie (Childress)
Spoonamore. He married Earline
(Kendall) Spoonamore on Sept.
24, 1982, in Indianapolis. She
survives. Other survivors
include a daughter, Sharon A.
Howard of Chicago; a stepson,
Rick Eaton of Indianapolis; a
sister, Betty Timmons of
Indianapolis; two brothers,
Denton Spoonamore of Greenwood
and J.R. Spoonamore of Indian-
apolis; and nine grandchildren. 
He was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Lisa McLees, in May 
2001; and three brothers, 
Willard, William and Carl Spoon-
amore.
  He was employed by Indiana
Bell as a communications
technician for more than 38
years, retiring in 1991.
  He was a member of Greenwood
Moose 8145 and American Legion
Post 88.
  He enjoyed camping and
fishing.
  He was a U.S. Army veteran.
  A service will be conducted at
1 p.m. Monday at G.H. Herrmann
Greenwood Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 4 to 8
p.m. Sunday at the funeral
home. Burial will be at Forest
Lawn Memory Gardens in White
River Township.
