  Helen Mae Solenberg, 94,
Shelbyville, died Monday
at Heritage House
Convalescent Center,
Shelbyville.
  Born Feb. 23, 1906, in
Hope, she was the
daughter of Albert and
Savilla (Holland) Seward.
She married Frank R.
Solenberg on Dec. 21,
1930, and he preceded her
in death on Nov. 29,
1993.
  Mrs. Solenberg was a
homemaker and lived in
Shelby County for 58
years after moving from
Johnson County.  She was
a member of Marietta
United Methodist Church
and the United Methodist
Women’s Association.
  Survivors include one
son, James Solenberg,
Shelbyville; ten
grandchildren; and 18
great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death
by one daughter, three
brothers and two sisters.
  Funeral services will be
at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at
Glenn E. George and Son
Funeral Home,
Shelbyville, with the
Rev. Stephen Gross
officiating.  Burial will
be in Rest Haven
Cemetery, Edinburgh.
Friends may visit from 5
p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday
at the funeral home.
