Home Passes Away
  Mrs. Mary G. Long, a resident
of the Mulberry Lutheran Home
for the last five or six years, 
died at the Home Wednesday morn-
ing, May 3, at 9 o’clock from a 
complication of ailments.  She 
was born in Bartholomew County, 
near Edinburg, on December 27,
1857.  The body was returned
to Edinburg Thursday morning,
where the last rites will be
held Saturday

MARY G. LONG DIES WEDNESDAY
FUNERAL AND BURIAL HERE
  Mrs. Mary G. Long, age 81,
passed away Wednesday at the
Lutheran home in Mulberry,
Indiana where she resided for
the past several years.
  The remains were brought to
the Mutz Funeral Home here
today where friends may call
after 7 o'clock this evening. 
Funeral rites are to be held
at the Edinburg Christian
Church at 2:30 p.m. Saturday
with Rev. Ralph Records
officiating.  Interment, Rest
Haven Cemetery.
  The deceased was born in
Bartholomew County Dec. 27,
1857 the daughter of Jacob and
Elizabeth Goetz.  In early
life she was married to Tom
Fry deceased and later married
to John Long who also preceded
her in death.
  Surviving are four sisters,
Mrs. Sarah Coffman and Mrs.
Emma Stillabower of Nineveh,
Mrs. Charles Wirey of Franklin
and Mrs. Ella Royse of
Indianapolis; two brothers,
John Goetz of Columbus and
James Goetz of Nineveh and 
others.
