Word has been received here of the death of Jack Ligon, 61, Houston, Texas. The brother-in-law of Mrs. Wayne Kellams of Edinburgh, he died unexpectedly Friday at Methodist Hospital at Houston, Texas, after becoming ill at home of an apparent heart attack. Mrs. Kellams was visiting there at the time.
Funeral service was conducted Monday at Forest Park Funeral Home at Houston, Texas, with burial at Calvary Cemetery there.
Self-employed, he married the former Gladys Lyons who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Fred Ligon of Madison, Ga., and a daughter, Rebecca Glowacki of Sugarland, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert, who died last year.

The brother-in- law of Mrs. Wayne Kellams of Edinbu- rgh, Jack Ligon, 61, died Friday, October 21, at Methodist Hospi- tal in Houston, Texas. He had become ill of an apparent heart attack at home and taken to the hospital with his death unexpected. Mrs. Kellams was visiting with the family at the time of his death and Mr. Kellams flew to Houston for the services.
