Eunice Juanita Mae Howell

Eunice Juanita Mae Howell, 82, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at her Shelbyville residence.

She was born June 6, 1920, in Indianapolis. Her parents were Harry and Ida (Morrison) Harsley. She married Howard E. Howell Sr. on Nov. 17, 1937. He survives. Other survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Bender, Gloria Edwards and Debbie Edwards, all of Shelbyville, and Dianna Davis of Indianapolis; an adopted daughter, Cyndie Buddenbaum of Shelbyville; two sons, Gene Howell of Fairland and Steven Howell of Franklin; a sister, Irene Basey; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, David Howell; and 11 brothers and sisters.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Apostolic Church in Greensburg.

The Rev. Esten Polling will conduct a service at 1 p.m. today at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service in Shelbyville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
