Charles E. Henry Burial At Rest Haven
Charles E. Henry, 66, 3130 31st Street, Columbus, died last Wednesday at Bartholomew County Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired self-employed contractor and carpenter.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Harold Armstrong at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Henry was born Nov. 30, 1912, in Bartholomew County. He married Evelyn Long Walters March 10, 1950, and she survives. He was a member of First Christian Church and Eagles Lodge in Columbus.
Other survivors include a daughter, Janet Weisman of Dayton, Ohio; two step-daughters, Mrs. Dennis West of Columbus and Mrs. E. Glenn Day of route 5, Columbus; three brothers, Gilbert Henry of Columbus, Irvin Henry of Indianapolis and Lawrence Henry of Burbank, Cal.
