Richard Lee ’Dickie’ Fox
  Richard Lee "Dickie" Fox, 54,
died Saturday, May 21, 2005,
at his residence in
Martinsville.
  He was born Aug. 2, 1950, in
Brown County. His parents were
Raymond and Bessie (Stott)
Fox. He married Carolyn Sue
(Fishel) Fox on April 9, 1970.
She survives. Other survivors
include two sons, Brad and
Brian Fox, both of
Martinsville; a daughter, Lisa
Fox Smith of Martinsville;
three brothers, John Fox of
Seymour, Carl Fox of Greenwood
and Raymond Fox Jr. of
Nineveh; seven sisters, Vinnie
Hacker and Janice Bray, both
of Morgantown, Shirley Pruitt
of Greenwood, Laura Wooldridge
of Trafalgar, Lucille Smith of
Edinburgh, Jean Johns of
Columbus and Donna Fulkerson
of Nashville; and six
grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by two brothers,
Robert and Jessie Fox, and a
sister, Evelyn Derringer.
  He had been a journeyman
machinist at Wolfe and
Swickard Machine Co. in
Indianapolis since 1972.
  He attended Brown County High
School.
  He was a member of Morgan
County Civil Defense.
  He loved the outdoors,
traveling and the ocean.
  A service will be conducted at
11 a.m. Wednesday at Neal &
Summers Mortuary, 110 E.
Poston Road in Martinsville.
Friends may call from 4 to 8
p.m. Tuesday and one hour
before the service Wednesday
at the funeral home. Private
burial will be conducted at a
later date.
