Rev. P. O. Duncan was called to Russiaville, Wednesday, by the death of his brother, Dr. S. O. Duncan’s wife, which occurred the night before. Dr. Duncan first located in Edinburg to practice medicine but removed to Russiaville about two years ago. He was married January 4, 1899.

The Howard County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, referencing Book H-16, page 17, records that Affa [sic] Duncan, a twenty-one-year-old white female, died 14 Mar 1899 in Russiaville.
