Herbert V. Crouch
      Herbert V. Crouch, 79, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Morton Plant
Hospital in Clearwater, Fla.  He was a resident of Largo, Fla., and a
former resident of Southport and Indianapolis.
      He was born April 27, 1925, in Indianapolis.  His parents were Edward H.
and Hallie (Brockman) Crouch.  He married Margaret (Jacobs) Crouch on June
9, 1946.  She preceded him in death in 1971.  He then married Evelyn
(Esteb) Crouch in 1972.  She survives.  Other survivors include a son,
Larry Crouch of Indianapolis; three daughters, Cinda Mersel of Winter
Park, Fla., Carol Robinson of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Cheryl Bell of
Shelbyville; two brothers, Edwin and Robert Crouch, both of Indianapolis;
28 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by
a son, Michael Crouch, in October 1999; two infant sons, Richard Daniel
and Brian Keith Crouch; two brothers, Jim and Edgar Crouch; and two
sisters, Ruth Roberts and Esther Knott.
      He was employed by Trans World Airlines as a customer service agent for 30
years until his retirement.
      He was a member of Disabled American Veterans Post 11 in Largo, Fla., and
Friendship United Methodist Church in Largo, Fla., a 32-year member of the
choir, and was a member of United Methodist Men's Club.  He was a former
member of Greenwood Methodist Church, where he also sang in the choir.
      He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
      The Rev. Duane Wilhite will conduct a service at noon Saturday at
Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home, 951 N. Main St. in Franklin.  Friends may
call from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Greenwood VFW and American Legion will conduct military graveside rites at
Greenwood Cemetery.

Herbert "Buddy" V. Crouch
      Herbert "Buddy" V. Crouch 79, Largo Florida, formerly of Southport and
Indianapolis, died November 19, 2004 in Morton Plant Hospital in
Clearwater, FL.  He was born April 27, 1925 in Indianapolis the son of
Edward H. and Hallie (Brockman) Crouch.  
      He married Margaret Jacobs on June 9, 1946 and she preceded him in death
in 1971.  He then married Evelyn Esteb in 1972 and she survives. 
      Other survivors include one son, Larry Crouch of Indianapolis; three
daughters, Cinda Mersel of Winter Park, FL, Carol Robinson of St.
Petersburg, FL and Cheryl Bell of Shelbyville, IN; two brothers, Edwin and
Robert Crouch both of Indianapolis; 28 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. 
      He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Crouch in Oct.
of 1999; and two infant sons, Richard Daniel and Brian Keith; two
brothers, Jim Crouch and Edgar Crouch; and two sisters, Ruth Roberts and
Esther Knott.  
      He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the D.A.V. Post #11 in Largo
Florida.  Herbert was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in
Largo where he sang in the Choir for 32 years often as a soloist and was a
member of the United Methodist Men’s Club.  
      He was a former member of Greenwood Methodist Church where he also sang in
the choir.  Mr. Crouch was a Customer Service Agent for Trans World
Airlines (TWA) for 30 years until retiring.  
      Pastor Duane Wilhite will conduct a service Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004 at
Noon in the Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home, Franklin.  Calling is from 10
a.m. until time of services in the funeral home.  Burial will be in
Greenwood Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the
Greenwood V.F.W. and American Legion.  
      Memorial contributions may be mae to the National Multiple Sclerosis
Society.
