Janet Marie (Meisberger) Cooper

Janet Marie (Meisberger) Cooper, 77, Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, March
31, 2009, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Feb. 25, 1932, in Milan to the late Edward and Marie Meisberger, she was a
graduate of New Marion High School.

She retired from the U.S. Post Office after 32 years of service.

She cherished time spent with her family, was a longtime member of the Golden
Girls Card Club and enjoyed visiting casinos.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58-plus years, Billy Cooper; her
children, Barbara (Frank) Worrell, Randy Cooper, Kathy Abplanalp, Billy (Jennie)
Cooper and John Cooper; nine grandchildren, Ross and Emily Worrell, Laura
Cooper, Matt and Daniel Abplanalp, Jacob and Tyler Cooper and Kelsie and Kameron
Cooper; a great-grandson, Jayden Abplanalp; and five siblings, Marilyn Browning,
John Meisberger, Sharon Eckstein, Robert Meisberger and Nancy Watson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Doris Meisberger and
Mary Ann Naugle.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue
Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, with visitation from 3 to 7 p.m.
Saturday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Acton Cemetery.

For her dedication and support of Franklin Township Little League, the family
requests memorial contributions be made to Franklin Township Little League
through the funeral home.
