Etta Allender Etta Allender, 96, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008. She was a resident of Indianapolis. Survivors include two sons, David E. (Barbara Jean) and Michael L. (Debra) Allender; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Edna Soales; her husband, Edward Vincent Allender; and a brother, Earl Soales. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Franklin Central Christian Church, 4100 S. Franklin Road, Indianapolis. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135 at Olive Branch Road, Greenwood, and one hour before the service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery.
