OBITUARY.
Mrs. Rebecca C. Wishard, wife of Robert Wishard, of Pleasant township, died at her residence west of Greenwood on the 23rd inst. She was a native of Kentucky and moved with her parents to this State in 1817, settling in Marion county. In May, 1826, she was married to Robert Wishard and proved a loving, devoted wife during their long and happy union. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church for 57 years, being a firm believer in God and his holy attributes and lived, as she died, an exemplary Christian woman, exercising an abiding faith in His justice, His mercy and His love. She was, in every sense of the terms, a kind, loving wife, an affectionate mother and a good neighbor.
