Rubie [sic] J. Williams, died of pneumonia last Saturday morning, aged 50 years. She was married, March 12th 1858, to Frederick Williams, to whom were born eleven children, nine of whom lived to manhood. She was a kind and loving mother and a devoted wife. After her husband’s death she continued to manage the farm successfully with the aid of her sons. Mrs. Williams united with the M. E. Church sometime since and was a consistent member until death. She was beloved by all who knew her. The funeral occurred Sunday at Knee Bo [sic Nebo] church and was largely attended.
