OBITUARY.

Miss Nancy White was born in Shelby County Ky., February 11th, 1815. She moved to Johnson County Indiana, in the year 1830, where she lived until the time of her death which occurred August 7th, 1894. She was buried August 8th, in the family graveyard on the farm now owned by Edward F. White of Franklin. For four years past she had lived with her nephew, J. L. Thompson, to whom she gave a farm in consideration of a home for herself. This she obtained with great satisfaction to herself and credit to Mr. Thompson. Eleven years prior to her death, her brother, Scott White, with who she had lived, died. Deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church. As a neighbor she was pleasant and accommodating. Having never married she seemed greatly attached to her relatives and old friends. For some time before her death she had been rendered almost helpless from paralysis.
