Mrs. Edward Wells died Sunday at her home in Edinburg. Deceased was twenty-nine years old. She leaves be­sides her husband, four small children. Funeral services took place Tuesday morning, conducted by Rev. S. W. Brown.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Edinburg, Blue River Township, Johnson County, Certificate and Record of Death, page 267 records that Maggie Wells died at about 3 o’clock p. m. on 13 May 1900 at her residence in Edinburg from septic fever of five days’ duration, contributory cause ptomaine poisoning, aged twenty-nine years, two months and twenty-nine days. She was female, white, married and a housewife, born in Jennings County, Indiana. Her father's name was William Muster, born in Indiana and her mother's maiden name Sarah Weisner, born in New York State. The informant was Edward Wells. She was buried in Edinburg, J. M. Breeding, undertaker.
