Death of Joseph Weddle.

Joseph F. Weddle died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Weddle, at twelve-thirty o’clock this afternoon. His death was caused by old age and a complication of diseases. Mr. Weddle was in his ninetieth year and had been ill for the past two months.

Mr. Weddle was born Dec. 15, 1831 in Brown county. He had an extensive farm in Hensley township and had been one of the most progressive of farmers of his community. For many years he had made his home with his children and come to the home of Mrs. Will Weddle just before his last illness. He was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist church.

Mrs. Joseph Weddle died a number of years ago. Five of their seven children are living. They are Mrs. Sarah Green, Mrs. Adda Spicer, Mrs. Will Weddle and John C. Weddle of Franklin, and Hanford Weddle of Smith’s Valley.

The funeral services will be held sometime Sunday.
