The infant son of John D. Webb died Sunday evening at the father’s home east of town. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the residence, burial at Greenlawn. The mother’s death occurred about four months ago.

Webb died from pneumonia of two days duration (contributory cause tuberculosis), on 14 Jan 1900 in Needham, Johnson County, Indiana, age 6 months and 5 days. He was white and male. His father’s name was John D. Webb (born in Franklin, Indiana) and his mother’s name Laurie E. Smiley (born in Johnson County, Indiana). He was buried in Greenlawn Cemetery on 16 Jan 1900, undertaker Dudley Peck.
