She was a resident of Greenwood. She was born May 2, 1928, in Cincinnati. Her parents were James A. and Anna Louise (Miles) Flaherty. She married Robert P. Waterfield Sr. on Oct. 2, 1952, in Lawrenceburg. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Linda C. Waterfield-Rose of Cincinnati; three sons, Robert P. Waterfield Jr. of Cincinnati and James Gray and David W. Waterfield, both of Greenwood; a brother, James Lawrence Flaherty of Cincinnati; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah N. Schulte; and a sister, Dorothy Sanders. She was a homemaker. She attended Ss. Francis and Clare Catholic Church in Greenwood. She enjoyed sewing and crafts. A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ss. Francis and Clare Catholic Church. Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
