NELLIE HOUSER
      Nellie Houser, 82, of Edinburgh route 2, died unexpectedly at 
1:30 p.m. last Tuesday at Bartholomew County Hospital.
      She was am member of North Christian Church.
      Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m Thursday at Norman 
Funeral Home at Hope.  Burial was at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
      Mrs. Houser was born in Bartholomew County Nov. 12, 
1899, the daughter of Samuel and Lillie Keller Bailey.  In 1916 
she was married to Lonnie Warner, who died in 1945.  She was 
married to Thane Houser in 1952 and he also preceded her in 
death, in 1967.
      Survivors include three daughters, Mary Anderson, Charlotte
Godsey and Pansy Waltz of Edinburgh; six sons, James W., John 
L. and Harry Warner of Columbus.  Alonzo and Rennell Max 
Warner of Edinburgh and Sam Warner of Texas; four sisters, 
Ruby Petro and Lovie Pickett of Columbus, Mary Isley of Hope 
and Pearl Smith of Taylorsville; a brother, Edward Bailey of 
Greenville, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
