Mrs. Emma Walden, wife of D. B. Walden, died at ten o’clock Tuesday morning, after an illness of three weeks of brain fever.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon from the residence, conducted by Rev. C. R. Hudson. Burial at Greenlawn.
Deceased’s maiden name was Bowles. She was a drughter [sic] of John C. Bowles of this city, and was born December 24, 1867. The husband and one son survive; also four sisters: Mrs. Frank Hughes, Mrs. Jos. A. Schmith [sic], Mrs. R. E. McClellan and Miss Jennie Bowles.
